Acorn Cottage is in a quiet rural spot in the peaceful hamlet of Brockhurst.

The local farmland is surrounded by hedges and walls, and there are plenty of footpaths to explore from the door.

The pretty village of Ashover is just a mile or so away down an old coach road.

Why not stop at a café or pub for refreshments either in Ashover or on the way back in Kelstedge – they’re all dog friendly too!
