Welcome to Acorn Cottage S45 0HR

A warm  welcome awaits you at Acorn Cottage, a peaceful barn conversion on the edge of Ashover in quiet rural Derbyshire close to the Peak District National Park.

Acorn Cottage is in the peaceful hamlet of Brockhurst just a mile outside the pretty village of Ashover.  It is the perfect base for a relaxing holiday, or you may prefer to take in a visit to the magnificent Chatsworth House, immerse yourself in the industrial heritage of the Derwent Valley UNESCO World Heritage Site, or just lose yourself in the lovely countryside.

If walking is your ideal holiday, there are walks for all capabilities from the door and the glorious Peak District National Park is close by with its spectacular scenery, pretty villages, fantastic walking and stunning views.  We are happy to help you plan your holiday, or just point you in the right direction, whatever you prefer.

There's so much to see and do near Acorn Cottage, Ashover Derbyshire S45 0HR from the seasonal delights of Ashover Family Farm to stately homes, things for the kids, walks for all levels from the door and further afield in the glorious Peak District, great food, welcoming pubs and cafés ... the list goes on but we're sure you'll take home some amazing memories from your holiday here.

This lovely dog friendly cottage in the hamlet of Brockhurst, just 1 mile from Ashover, sleeps 4 in a double and twin. Pub and cafe justv15 minute walk away!

With an upstairs bathroom and downstairs shower room, lounge with log burner and garden room there's plenty of space for families or friends meeting (we're pretty much in the middle of the country).

The private garden is a great place to relax or plan tomorrow's adventures.

There's plenty of off street parking and an EV charger (small charge for electricity used).
