In addition to our warm welcome we aim to provide everything you could possibly want during your stay, apart from your own food, drink and BBQ fuel. We can supply home reared eggs, sausages, bacon and honey plus homemade bread (subject to availability) – please ask what’s available during your stay.

The price you pay for Acorn Cottage is fully inclusive, which means there is no additional charge for the central heating, wood for the logburner, electricity, bedlinen or towels.  And there is no charge for dogs! However EV charging is an extra cost.

You’ll find all the beds made up with duvets and pillows in each bedroom, plus a bath sheet and hand towel for each member of your party. We are reducing our single use plastic toiletries but still provide soap and handwash.

A dog bed, dog throws for the sofas, a bowl, dog-drying towels and poo bags are provided for our doggy visitors.

On arrival you’ll find a welcome pack of tea & coffee, milk, some homemade/home produced goodies and some eggs (with the compliments of the hens).

We do not provide a cot, bumpers or high chair for hygienic reasons, but we do have a stair gate for children or dogs – please let us know if you would like to use this for your stay.
